Destiny Duron Deas is a fourth generation pentecostal preacher, a serial entrepreneur, and an active executive volunteer and board member at a variety of nonprofits. Destiny graduated from Southern Methodist University in 2004 with degrees in Economics and International Studies. She received her J.D. from Duke Law School in 2008 and MA in East Asian Studies from Duke University Graduate School in the same year. After clerking for Judge Paul Niemeyer on the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals in Baltimore, MD, Destiny returned to Bossier City with her husband Phillip Deas. Since 2013, they have served as the Lead Pastors of Northpoint Community Church in Bossier City, a congregation with a mission to create Christ-centered, culture changing community. Since 2009, Destiny has operated a manufacturing consulting company specializing in creating supply chains for start up companies. In 2016, she opened a design consulting branch focusing on online government communication. In 2020, she opened her law firm which focuses on corporate strategy and non-profit management and compliance. Destiny is passionate about helping others find their identity in Christ and purpose in every season of life. She writes a blog, destinydeas.com, and is a contributor to other publications. Destiny has been married to Phillip for eighteen years and has three adorable daughters, and two sons. Together, they have published House Habits, a book that teaches how to live on mission through the intentional cultivation of habits.
